Welcome to the Real Estate Buyers' Agents Association of Australia

REBAA was founded in 2000 to raise the profile of the industry and to establish guidelines for the professional conduct of real estate buyers' agents. The founding members of REBAA instilled that the Association as a whole would be committed to being actively involved in working together to achieve these aims.

REBAA maintains a good relationship with state based Real Estate Institute's as well as the National body and makes regular contact with other organisations to represent the interests of our members. For example, REBAA has had input to the NSW Department of Fair Trading's work on the review of the Property, Stock and Business Agents Act to ensure that the activity of buyers' agents is considered in drafting amendments. REBAA members are also involved in similar activities with Government in Victoria, Queensland and Western Australia.

REBAA members are committed to working specifically to each client's individual requirements and to considering all possible sources of properties that meet those requirements. We are passionate in our belief that our clients' best interests can only be served when they are exclusively represented by an agent for buyers and that agent is licensed in accordance with applicable laws. In this way, buyers who use a REBAA member can be assured of objective, independent and expert advice with the full protection of relevant legislation.

For details on our commitments to serving our clients and the way in which we work, see our Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice.
